Summary

Dumac is very happy to report on the success of the design process within Revit for this new construction JL Ilsley High School in Halifax, NS. The project was delivered via the modified design build delivery method. The integrated design team worked collaboratively with the contractor and the client team to deliver the project in a timely manner.

The school houses students at the high school level and includes many classrooms, visual arts, learning stair, labs, production area and skilled trades.

The school was constructed on the existing JL Ilsley School site, with students remaining in the original school during construction of the new facility. For this reason site electrical and mechanical services were carefully coordinated to ensure no interruption of service to the existing school building.

Dumac provided complete mechanical and electrical design services to the integrated design team.
