Jamie Cahoon, – Mechanical EIT.
Mechanical Engineer-in-training
Mr. Cahoon joined the Dumac Team in 2019. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 and brings with him a technical knowledge of AutoCAD used during his education and is currently learning Revit. He works with the design team throughout various projects and produces mechanical drawings for their designs.
He is experienced in all aspects of mechanical engineering design, including heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) building management and control systems, plumbing and drainage systems for commercial, industrial and institutional projects.
Jamie uses CAD and BIM software to draft mechanical plans for commercial and institutional projects completed at Dumac. Jamie is also learning Energy Modeling software and assists with creating LEED energy models for projects.
